Our Story

 

Founded in 1943, Hillel at Miami University has brought Jewish life to Oxford and campus for over 80 years. We have a long history of enriching the community and being a valued partner to the university.

A Place to Explore
Hillel is a welcoming, pluralistic space where students can explore and shape their Jewish journeys in ways that feel meaningful to them.

Ways to Get Involved
Students can find opportunities to connect, lead, and grow, including:

  • Weekly Shabbat dinners

  • Holiday celebrations and special programs

  • Leadership opportunities and student engagement internships

  • Social and informal spaces to relax and connect
