Our goal is to serve every Jewish student from the time they begin their studies until they graduate. As such we do not ask students to ‘join” Hillel and do not charge dues. Our national office, the Schusterman International Center (SIC) provides us with many program and administrative services. SIC also provides specific grants that we have received from time to time. Hillel at Miami University receives less than 50% of its operating income from various federations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Therefore, the majority of our annual operating budget, the funds needed to provide the programs and services that are vital to supporting a vibrant campus community, relies on donations from parents, alumni and friends.

Each year, hundreds of corporations match gifts to Hillels across the country through employee matching gifts programs. Donors need only obtain the appropriate forms from their employer and send them to Hillel along with or subsequent to making their gifts. Please inquire with your employer to see if they will match your gift to Hillel at Miami University.
